2025 HORSEMANSHIP CAMPS

Lenux Stables is home to the most exciting riding camps around! Our camps are EXCITING, EDUCATIONAL and FUN! Our campers have the time of their lives and will want to come back for more. No previous riding experience is necessary and all levels of riders are welcome.

9:00am - 3:00pm daily  •  Ages 6-13  •  $650 per camper

Horsemanship Session One (1): June 9-13

Horsemanship Session Two (2): June 16-20

Horsemanship Session Three (3): June 23-27

Horsemanship Session Four (4): July 7-11

Horsemanship Session Five (5): July 21-25

Horsemanship Session Six (6): July 28-Aug. 1

Camps may include any or all of the following:

• Riding lesson with a professional instructor

• Learning to groom horses

• Horse-related games

• Horse-related arts & crafts

• New horse experiences

• Horse painting

• Driving a horse in a buggy

• Veterinarian presentation / Q&A

• Making horse treats

• Scavenger hunts around the farm

• Horse care & knowledge

• Splash day with water games and horses

2025 TINY TROTTER CAMP

Our tiny trotters love Summer Camp! They get a riding lesson each day of camp and get horse snuggles all day long! Our professional staff will be beside all riders as they are on horseback. Students will always be with a leader and helper. Our ratio is 3 campers to each counselor, off of the horse. Campers must be potty trained.

June 30-July 2  • 9:00am - 1:00pm each day  •  Ages 3-5  •  $400 per camper

Camps may include:

• Daily riding

• Painting our ponies — with washable and non-toxic paint, of course

• Washing horses/ponies

• Dressing up ponies

• Playing games on and off horses

• Making pony pizzas and horse ice cream cones

• Making horse crafts

• Making horse treats

• Scavenger hunts around the farm

• Meeting the donkeys, mules, goats, sheep and all horses and ponies

• Splash day with water games and horses

2025 COMPETITION TEAM CAMP

Show Season is the best season of the year!

This camp is geared for the competitive rider to accelerate show season prep. Camp participants MUST be a CURRENT member of either the ACADEMY or PERFORMANCE SHOW TEAMS of Lenux Stables or Lakeside Stables. Riding lessons will be geared for the show ring specializing in ringmanship, showmanship and equitation. Campers will learn United States Equestrian Rules as well as Rules of the American Saddlebred Horse & Breeders Association, and the American Saddlebred Association of the Carolinas. Campers will focus on judging standards and the judge's perspective, prepping horse and rider for the horse show, as we can gear up for the Asheville Summer Fun show at the end of the week, and horse show practices. This week will include a LOT of intense riding and each rider will come out of this camp much more prepared and ready for the summer show season. We will have a blast as we become the best versions of ourselves!

* Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am-3:00 pm daily • Friday: 9:00am-1:00pm, so that everyone can head to Asheville for the show! $600 per camper. If a rider participates in camp and the Asheville Summer Fun show, there will be an all inclusive discount rate of $1000 for both ($250 discount)
