Lilly Asano

President

Hi! I’m Lilly Asano, your Lenux Legends Youth Club President for 2022! I have been riding for 11 years at Lenux and show in the Senior Equitation division with my horse In The Wind, or better known around the barn as Louis. I’m a Junior in high school at CSD and when I’m not at the barn, I am baking/cooking, doing homework, playing with my dogs, reading, or hanging out with my family. I’m also a summer camp counselor and I am a firm believer in the power of positivity and optimism.

The Lenux Legends Youth Club has taught me so much about who I am as a person and leader. It has truly helped make me who I am now. This is my third position in 4 years on the Lenux Legends Youth Club Committee and I am also the ASAC (American Saddlebred Association of the Carolinas) Youth Club Historian. I cannot wait to give back to the industry, help create the next generation, and make the world a better place.

Emma Wittgraefe

Vice President

Hi! I’m Emma Wittgraefe, your Lenux Legends Youth Club Vice President for the 2022 year! I have been riding at Lenux for eight years and I show Bandit in Three-Gaited Show Pleasure and Captain in Park. I am super excited to also get to show my new horse, Nirvana, this year in the Five-Gaited division! I am in 11th grade at Cannon and I spend most of my week riding or helping with lessons at Lakeside Stables, our sister stables in Mooresville, NC.

When I’m not at the barn I love getting to travel or hang out with friends. I have had a few different officer positions over the years and had the best time as I got to combine some of my favorite things—Lenux and giving back to the community! I am so excited to be a part of the Lenux Legends Youth Club again this year and I look forward to working with the new group of officers to make it the best year yet!

Michele Ziegler

Hey y'all, I'm Michele, and I'm so happy to say that I am your 2022 Lenux Legends Youth Club Secretary! I'm 16 years old, a sophomore at Hough High School, and I've been riding at Lenux for nine years now. This will be my ninth show season, second of which in the performance division. I competed last year on my horse, Slate, but this year I will moving on to a new horse, still TBD, so stay tuned for exciting details to come!

I also Barn Assist on Wednesdays at Lenux so y'all may see me at the barn then too. This year, I am so excited to get the youth club back up and running, get back to donating to the community, and just having a great time!

Ella Pretorius

Treasurer

Hi! My name is Ella Pretorius and I’m this year’s Lenux Legends treasurer! I have been riding at Lenux for over 5 years and attending youth club for the past 3 years. I will be showing on the 2022 academy team in the 14-17 group, and it will be my second year showing. I’m a freshman, and I attend Bradford Preparatory School. When I’m not riding, working at the barn, or doing homework, you can find me with my dogs, playing volleyball, or hanging out with my friends. As my first year being an officer, I’m so excited to see our community grow with the help of the Lenux Legends!

Paige Dixon

Historian

Hi! I’m Paige Dixon, your Lenux legends historian for the 2022 year! I have been riding at Lenux for 8 years and show in 14-17 academy walk and trot. I am in 10th grade at Hopewell High School. When I’m not at the barn I’m either playing softball or running track. I also love to hang out with friends. This is my first ever officer position and I’m am beyond excited to get to get to know everyone!
